Two all-weather attractions on the same site! Begin your day with a visit to the Slate Caverns. Grab your helmet and begin your journey deep into the mountain. Explore the Caverns and tunnels and marvel at the 500-million-year-old Welsh Slate. Each of the nine caverns remain as the miners left them over 100 years ago. Search for the old drilling holes and visit the ‘Caban’. Why not learn about the cheese we mature in our caverns and buy some at the shop? See an original slate fan and learn about the apprentice test piece the young miners made to show off their skills. Emerge from the Caverns to breathtaking panoramic views of Cardigan bay.
Take a short walk to the Children’s Farm Park and meet our adorable animals down on the farm. Why not bottle feed a lamb, watch the calves being fed or feed our friendly goats by hand? Visit the bunny house to cuddle our fluffy little friends. Indoor and outdoor play areas. Large tube maze, zip line, go-karts, crazy golf, climbing wall, an outdoor play castle and more! Don’t miss the goat stampede at the end of the day! On-site cafe for both attractions at one of the best viewpoints in the area.
